I am a photographer, traveler, entrepreneur and passionate follower of Jesus. I’m thankful for my family and friends and love to spend quality time with them. Life would be boring without people to share it with!

I grew up in Northern California and loved it. It’s true what they say, that you never know what you’ve got until it’s gone. The combination of beautiful weather, prime location and surplus of fun activities there is hard to beat anywhere else. I’ve since lived the life of a sailor in Maui, Hawaii, a business owner in Nashville, Tennessee and most recently a backpacker in New Zealand. Everywhere I’ve been, I’ve enjoyed capturing images of cities and landscapes with my trusty camera. I prefer to be behind that camera rather than in front of it. I’ve recently returned to Nashville because, quite simply, the friendships I have here mean more to me than any other earthly treasures.

I believe that life is an adventure waiting to be lived. Even the most mundane parts of life are chances to learn more about myself and look for opportunities to grow. No matter where I go or what I do, I’m always trying to gleam life lessons from my experiences. I love telling the stories of my adventures almost as much as I love the adventures themselves. These stories are mostly what I enjoy blogging about. From time to time, I think out loud(or type out loud, I suppose) about what I’m learning and observations I’m making about life.

A famous musician once told me, “Remember, the fun is in the climb.” I’ve never forgotten his advice and I’ve taken it to heart. I try to appreciate each moment I’m given and live in the present. Life is too short not to enjoy it, the good, the bad and the ugly. I hope you’ll enjoy following along with my life adventures as much as I enjoy living them!
